A soldier for the kingdom of Yaksha - he is as resilient and mysterious as one would expect from a resident of the dark place. He takes on each challenge with a silent sort of audacity, staring it all in the face without batting an eye lash. He exudes self-confidence, and doesn't hint toward his fears when faces with a problem. This shows especially true when fighting for his kingdom - on the rare occasion that Yaksha does step up to the place and go to war, Kita will face their enemies with courage and a grin.
Outside of day to day challenges, he is a quiet, fumbling presence. Quiet, because he doesn't find himself speaking very often. He issues short orders toward his pokemon and isn't the type to get worked up while training, so it's rare to hear him then either. Yet he's far from being able to perfectly conceal his emotions at all times. When he's caught out of battle mode, he'll go through the motions of regular conversation, sometimes answering with one word responses and sometimes getting caught in rambles that he and the person that he's speaking to would rather ignore.
He was raised by his uncle, who wasn't known for talking opposed to teasing, taunting and fighting. His parents trained together and traveled a lot, so he was stuck with the good for nothing member of the family. Kita's only sense of normalcy was his relationship with his cousin. She was small and frail and had blonde hair and green eyes. He always thought that she was too bright a girl to live in Yaksha - it wasn't that there was anything wrong with his kingdom, she was just... different. The two of them were inseparable until she grew sick, and she has been bedridden ever since. He was sixteen at the time.
Since then, Kita's life has been focused on raising money through fighting for his Kingdom. It's not a quick way to get rich, but it's one that he's familiar with, because his parents did the same thing for him. He's quiet, focused and determined without liking to share much about himself unless he has to.
He'll learn to care for his pokemon with time for sure, but for now they're more pawns than friends, but respected because they're all part of a team.
